 After
being introduced to the
art of chalk painting
in the early '90s, Chris
Bennett (pictured with
his wife Lynette) has
participated in more than
30 festivals, including
I Madonnari (Santa Barbara),
Youth in Arts Festival
(San Rafael and Paint
the Bay (San Diego). A
graduate of Cal Poly San
Luis Obispo in both Landscape
Architecture and Business
Administration. He has
worked as a volunteer
in the production of the
Children's
Creative Festival
in Mission Viejo and I
Madonnari in San Luis
Obispo.
Chris is also my mentor
in the art of chalk painting.
We've had numerous opportunities
to work together on paintings
and I've learned a lot
from him. I consider it
a privilege to know him.
 Chris
and Lynette recently added
another chalk painter
to their ranks, his name
is Miles and Chris already
has him working in the
family tradition!
